Lytton River Festival has events for the whole family!

Browse our local farmers’ market, enjoy the rock climbing wall, and dance the night away to great bands and entertainment. Don’t forget to visit our museum and visitor’s centre, and take advantage of great deals on whitewater rafting adventures!

Festival Dinner Offerings - Food Trucks, Jade Springs, Lytton Hotel buffet, Lil’ Towne Deli. Legion Dinner: Meatloaf and mashed potatoes or traditional Spooh Beans and rice. Doors open: 5:30 pm Dinner served: 6:00 pm Bar will be open. $15 each adult or children $1 per year up to 13 years of age.

Pancake Breakfast - Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast at the Parish Hall on 7th Street. Art and photography displays. Support local charity group.

Lytton Museum Activity - History Comes Alive at Lytton Museum, with the Virtual Time Capsule! Be sure to bring the kids of all ages.

Scotiabank Welcome Booth - River Festival Buttons and t-shirts for sale. Information on festival events.

Chicken Poop Bingo, Bouncy Slide, Dunk Tank - Place your bet on a bingo square for chicken poop bingo. Children will have fun on the bouncy slide. Can you hit the target to make a dunk?

Youth Hand Drumming - A hands-on session with Soaring Spirit. Drums provided.

Under the Canopy for Children - Hands on making dream catchers, beading, painting and storytelling. Face painting.

Climbing Wall - Challenge yourself on the supervised rock climbing wall.

The Deloreans: Back to the 80’s Dance Band - This lively group hails from Kamloops. Street dancing continues into the night.

First Nations youth Welcome - Local youth demonstrate traditional First Nations drumming and singing in a welcome to the Cultural Day Celebrating Indigenous Culture.

Spiritual Warriors - Indigenous musicians harmonizing traditional and contemporary sounds. Returning to the festival for the Third time, by popular demand.

Ecko Aleck Spoken word Presentation - Listen to the compelling voice of this Indigenous Nlaka’pamux woman as she shares her story.

Savage Society Presents - First Nations dramatic performance of “The Council of Spider Fly and Ant”, featuring professional actors and local citizens. Produced by Kevin Loring’s Savage Society.

Artisan Demonstrations - Local First Nations artisan workshops and demonstrations: visit, ask questions, or try your hand at traditional crafts under the instruction of local Knowledge Keepers.

Community Dinner - A delicious meal by donation. Come and feast with Savage Society performers. Governor General Award winner Kevin Loring will be joining everyone for dinner.
