Flowing through cultures, uniting communities.
Join us at the Lytton River Festival, a vibrant community celebration honouring the people who embody the spirit of the rivers.

The Lytton River Festival is a celebration of two great rivers – the Thompson and Fraser – and their historic and present role in Lytton, B.C..

For the past two years, the festival has also been a celebration of the resilience, spirit and strength of the people of Lytton as the village recovers from the deadly 2021 wildfires that destroyed virtually every home in the townsite.

This year’s festival will now be held on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8 at the Stein Valley Nlaka’pamux School, at 1675 St Georges Rd, Lytton

The Nlaka’pamux People have lived along these magnificent rivers for over 10,000 years and are an integral part of the River Festival. The rivers are integral to their culture. Join us on Labour Day weekend as we celebrate the rich history of the people of the rivers.
