Lytton River Festival has events for the whole family!

Browse our local farmers’ market, enjoy the rock climbing wall, and dance the night away to great bands and entertainment. Don’t forget to visit our museum and visitor’s centre, and take advantage of great deals on whitewater rafting adventures!

Pernell Reichert - Vancouver's own singer-songwriter Pernell Reichert entertains as a duo with Ross on stand-up bass playing the amazing sounds of bluegrass.

Lytton Museum Activity - Old Fashioned Fun for Parent & Child (under 12 yrs). Playtime At Lytton Museum & Archives. Family entertainment from days gone by. Try some vintage games. No batteries required.

Chicken Poop Bingo, Bouncy Slide, Dunk Tank - Place your bet on a bingo square for chicken poop bingo. Children will have fun on the bouncy slide. Can you hit the target and dunk a local VIP?

Under the Canopy for Children - Hands on making dream catchers, beading, painting and storytelling. Face painting.

Climbing Wall - Challenge yourself on the supervised rock climbing wall.

Kayaking for kids - Learn kayaking skill in the Lytton Pool; with trained whitewater rafting and Kayaking guides. For youth ages 6-17. Parents welcome to assist.

First Nations youth Welcome - Local youth demonstrate traditional First Nations drumming and singing in a welcome to the Cultural Day Celebrating Indigenous Culture.

White Thunder Dance Theatre - Join us in celebrating the Indigenous People of the Rivers. A unique opportunity to take part in cultural games, music and dance.

Family Comedy Show with Don Burnstick - Coming from the Alexander First Nation in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Burnstick is a Cree Native American. Join us as we share some laughter with this well-known comedian.

Interactive Drum Workshop - Join Soaring Spirit as he shares songs and stories related to traditional Nlhaka’pamux hand-drumming. Drums and sticks provided.
12:00 - 16:00
Artisan Demonstrations - Local First Nations artisan workshops and demonstrations: visit, ask questions, or try your hand at traditional crafts under the instruction of local Knowledge Keepers.
16:30 - 17:30
Community Dinner: Festival closing - A delicious meal by donation. Come and feast with the day’s performers. visitors and volunteers for dinner.
